While I did not help plan events with the Royals, I was recruited by Royals Charities to cover their events on social media: Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament and 5K.

2021 VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER

As a small market Div. I program, we rely heavily on fundraising efforts for scholarship funding, travel, equipment, meals, gear, technology and more. Due to COVID-19, we were unable to host our annual fundraiser, so we had to improvise and launched a virtual fundraiser. An anonymous donor decided to add a twist - if we could raise $25k, he would match the donation. Through a simple player driven fundraising campaign, we were able to raise $25k in the first week. By the end of the fundraiser, we raised an amazing $80k.

2020 DIAMOND DINNER

I was able to plan and organize the biggest annual fundraiser for the Sacramento State Baseball team. I coordinated with businesses receiving over 140 donations and items for the silent auction portion of the event. We raised a total of $56k for the 10th annual Diamond Dinner.

READ ACROSS AMERICA

Intel provided so many amazing experiences and opportunities for me. Along with my job, I was able to do so many volunteer opportunities for non-profits, organize and be apart of Intel’s initiatives for diversity, women’s empowerment, mentorships and so much more. I coordinated, planned, supported and led 22 events each year. Some events being labor intensive and large scale (1,500+ attendees).
